I have used DBAN and now have a box waiting for my choice of Linux.
I tried to use the Interactive option but may not have selected the disk
drive properly as it came up with errors. I checked the FAQs and then
used the "autonuke" option. It just worked, doing 3 passes and then
halting doing the 4 Mbytes in an hour. It made a log file which I will
try and view on my Linux system as I could not decipher the first one
from Interactive on W98.
Many thanks Paul and Matthew.
Regards
Gordon.
