[HLUG] book recomendations for new-ish-be pls

I've got a new ex-Vista desktop machine
on which ive installed ubuntu
but im afraid im going to have to learn command line stuff
like GET APT and SUDO whatever they are
because its not as good as windows at point and click, (yet)

Please recommend me a book
which will have most of what i want in it
so I can learn the language and conventions of ubuntu
then go online for the rest,
(i do like a physical paper book for reference...)

device drivers, add new hardware wizard, network setup, install software,
