Out of interest, which laptop is it? There may be a few gotchas or  
added extras that we can avoid/enable for you on the way!

Matthew,It is a HP  Omnibook  XE3  designed for Win 2000 prof. & win98 -which is on it.7Gb hdd fat 32.  192Mb RAM.     Roy
