In the early years of 20th century the Dutch government, being fair and liberal,
made a census of all citizens including religious beliefs, the aim being to
ensure that minorities were treated fairly in the distribution of government
services.

In 1940 someone else was running the country and they found the data base very
useful for their own purposes.

The price of liberty is CONSTANT vigilance.

Quite apart from the colossal waste and stupidity of our present governers, who
are operating well beyond their collective competence.

Rant over; hoping to see you all tonight;
Pete
