[HLUG] school feedback on our ISFD education project

we are already getting interest from schools before we've even sent out
the intial emails
Colin has approached Madley and Kingstone as he promised at the meeting
and his contacts there - a  governor & the headmaster respectively have
both expressed interest in being involved  - in our education project in
the month around ISFD.
Heather is working on the schools email at the minute and will be
posting a working draft shortly onto the Pirate Pad - so please take the
time to give her some feedback
Colin has been working on rewording the Press release to make it a
little more punchy - that too will be up on PP asap

If you haven't yet approached a local school but do have a contact there
and don't have time to speak to them yourself - please let Heather or
myself know their details and if you can take the time to make a direct
approach and ask if they would be interested in getting involved please
do.

Pete has made the Pirate Pad more readable  - so it should be easy to
find things there - just go to the appropriate section and  feel free to
add comments and suggestions.

Don't forget our deadline for preparation of the first publicity for the
event is July 1st so we don't have lots of time as we need the info to
go out to the schools before the end of term and also to get into the
summer newsletters for businesses and voluntary organisations.
