[HLUG] Naughty new Ubuntu?

Thanks for your reply Julian .It is a Canon MP540 series.  I think my printer is ok because it prints normally when used with another computer running windows and was ok before I changed to the latest version of ubuntu 11.10. I see others with the same problem on ubuntu's help pages but no answers as yet.
