Preliminary report on Rachel Bagley, 4yrs 11m.

I set up the USB flash device on Lynda's Thinkpad.

I firstly tried Rachel on the game of shooting down simple integers. 

She found this quite fun, but was hampered by lack of keyboard skills.
I had to show her where the numbers and the enter buttons were located. 

We transfered the system to David's ACER laptop.  David soon had Rachel doing arithmetic and shooting down both the numbers and any answers to equations.

Lynda commented that she was smiling a lot. She also liked the graphical 
options.

It is early days, but first indications are positive.

I have two more grandchildren, rather older at 10 and 12.

Please can I have another USB thumb?
I have passed the existing one to David.  I hope to get a report from him in due course.
