[HLUG] hdparm flags

Hi everyone - I'm stuck again!!

I have been trying to use hdparm --dco-restore but the command requests 
the --yes-I-know-what-i-am-doing flag before proceeding. Entering -$ 
sudo (or -#) hdparm --dco-restore --yes-I-know-what-i-am-doing /dev/sda 
from either a resident or live CD terminal just returns the list of 
options and flags for hdparm and it doesn't seem to do anything further.

All ideas, knowledge and suggestions extremely gratefully received.
