A little while ago I posted a contribution concerning Grace Hopper (then 
a Captain in the US Navy) handing out bits of wire to the group.
They were each one nanosecond long, NOT as I wrongly stated micro 
seconds.  I must have been half asleep when I wrote that.

Grace Hopper used to give lectures on computing at the lab where I
worked at the time.
