Hi John

I have had a Chromebook Pixel for a couple of years and used to (though
I've stopped now) run Ubuntu alongside it using the very awesome Crouton
project

The great thing about Chromebooks is if it all goes horribly wrong you just
to a hard restart and go back to the beginning
