[HLUG] How to speed up a first gen Nexus 7 tablet / SFD 2015 Venue

Hi

If anyone like me has struggled with this tablet getting gradually slower
and slower till almost unusable with Android lollipop 5.1 upgrade, then

I'd reinstalled, cleared cache partition, reinstalled etc etc without much
real success.

In the end I installed Cyanogen 12 and best trick of all used the newerf2fs
filesystem which was written specifically for tablet type devices.

More than happy with it so far, but a very long journey of issues.


On another matter :- I still haven't got a response from Jackie at All
Saints. I haven't got time this week to visit the church to try and book
for SFD ;- if anyone else is around Hereford this week, please would they
consider asking about availability and explaining our previous events held
there ?

Otherwise sadly we will not have a venue for SFD ....
