[HLUG] February HLUG Meet up WEDNESDAY Night

Hi everyone

Our second LUG meet up of the new year will be on Wednesday at 7.30pm,
usual place the Courtyard in Hereford on the mezzanine floor. Hope we can
get a good number at the meeting.

If you have been on our list but haven't attended a meeting yet, or you've
been unable to attend for a while, or met our group during our SFD event
we'd be very pleased to see you. We don't bite ;-)

The meeting will start at roughly 7:30pm as usual.

*                         - Some demos of applications and tools I've been
using - ERPNext, Tomato Router, Nextcloud*

I've been involved in some interesting projects recently, so would like to
share some of apps I've been looking at and working on.

   1. ERPNext <http://erpnext.com> is a completely FLOSS ERP system which
   is particularly easy to use and customise, unlike Odoo the other main semi
   FLOSS ERP tool.
   2. (Advanced) Tomato by Shibby <https://advancedtomato.com/>- Silly name
   FLOSS Router/firmware - turn your router into a powerhouse even with an
   OpenVPN server !
   3. Last and by no means least - Nextcloud <http://nextcloud.org> - the
   FLOSS successor to Owncloud, the Google Drive/Docs killer app with built in
   contacts/calendar and mail apps amongst others also including a online word
   processor app too. Even makes the tea in the new release

I will demo (assuming my Chromebook OpenVPN client is set up by this point)
all these applications. All amazing completely open source applications.


The Courtyard has free fast wifi and serves lovely coffees, and there is
level access to all public areas of the building. You can find directions
