[HLUG] February HLUG meeting and Forthcoming Workshop Style Events Ideas

Hi everyone

Wednesday evening will be our next meeting assuming we're not snowed off.
I'll send more details tonight.

We discussed what we can do to restart events in the group during the last
meeting.

It was thought that it would be better to continue with smaller Workshop
style events similar to that we held at Leominster Grange Court in the last
year or two.

So we are looking for a presenter or presenters perhaps on a Open Source or
Linux theme that would be of interest to the group and also to the local
community. It could also be something like a Linux install evening, though
obviously we would have to be careful with pc's or devices that the general
public might present us with.

Grange Court is still very much open to us as a group at a discounted rate.
They also have the large touchscreen display in the Education room that
worked well during our last event.
There are other venues of course that we could use if they are cost
effective for the group.

Previous topics have been on Linux Security and Professional Audio / Video
topics.

Please come forward if you have any good ideas or would like to present or
go present in one of these events.

We can discuss further on Wednesday but it would be good if we can start
the conversation here...
