[HLUG] German state bans Office365 in schools

Interesting article about a German state banning the use of Office365 in schools due to major concerns of data privacy issues.

Primarily their concerns are that they need to see a German only datacenter to house the users data, but MS closed their Germy datacenter for this last year.

There have been attempts to move from ms office in the past with Bavaria using OoenOffice for many years but unfortunately the experience wasn't always good with a number of interoperability issues occurring.
