Hi Guys, I attach two items resulting from my first attempts to load a
linux OS.
One gives a full 'snapshot' of what my computer is spec wise.
The second is the last part of the "Fatal exception" report.
Which OS have I tried...... ?
I wanted Solus 4.2 Plasma x64, as it is said to resemble Win7 and with
'Wine' to operate Photoshop CS6.
This failed and so did the 20+ others that I have downloaded and tried,
right back to Ubuntu 9.10.
I have switched off the Cool & Quiet powersave, to no effect.
As far as I know all items having drivers etc have been updated.
Lost of Ross
