Hi everyone
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunny warm weather before it gets just too
sunny and warm 🌅
As you may know I work fully remote these days for my work as a Cloud
Support Manager, often at home but sometimes out and about at a local
village or town cafe.
I like to get out of the house to work, it's just often too quiet at home,
and I prefer a little background noise and real conversations around me or
even with me :-)
There is a good work space for folk such as me, remote workers,
freelancers, folk setting up their own business but don't have a quiet
space at home, etc in the middle of Hereford (Work Here
https://www.workhereford.co.uk/), but for me the idea of a 30 minute trip
to our fine city through the traffic is not quite my idea of fun.
I'm wondering if anyone else is in the same boat and has any ideas of
places that you can get work done. I just need a comfy chair, table, WiFi
and coffee. A nice view and/or outside space would be the cherry on top but
is optional.
Before anyone suggests the Grange in Leo, they did originally have really
nice work spaces you could hire for a small fee for an hour or two or even
a day, but sadly they have instead decided to let these mini offices to
folk who need a permanent let .. shame as these would have been ideal for
me.
Ideally if there was a remote work space place in the north of
Herefordshire, ie Leominster, Kington, Presteigne or Ludlow way that would
be ideal. Other nearby towns (Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Shrewsbury, Malvern,
Worcester) have workspaces such as this, so I'm hoping that we can in our
local area have one sometime before 2050 maybe.
If anyone has any other ideas that may help me, or knows anyone who is
starting such a workspace or has any remote working areas or small office
area that I could use occasionally, please let me know. I'm happy to pay
for the privilege.
Many thanks
Julian
