[HLUG] libgtk version/ dependency issue

Hi Gang.

I am supposed to be following an online enquiry in M$ Teams.

It won't let me log in using the link provided by the IT support (unable 
to connect- no further explanation.)

I am trying to load the downloaded deb using the automated installer 
that came with the download and it gives an error message;

Error: dependency is not satisfiable: libgtk-3-0 ( >= 3.19.12)

I am taking this to mean that a version equal to or above 3.19.12 is 
required.

My synaptic package manager is showing the installed version is 
3.18.9-1ubuntu3.3 AND that no latest version is available. It also tells 
me that 0 packages are broken and 0 available to upgrade.

I am actually running in Mint KDE. Which is NOT in the list of supported 
deb linux OSs; but Ubuntu 16.04 LTS is (which suggests a much older 
version of libgtk.)

Suggestions welcome (note that due to bt bandwidth a full upgrade will 
take hours- even if I was confident it would work:( )
