Hi Sean, thanks for asking !

I took a trawl through the suggested tools and what I found was geared 
towards recovering drives or file systems on drives from a series of 
what used to be quite common failure modes, and none of the tools seemed 
to offer me the one specific thing I needed to attempt- recovery of a 
file from a deleted folder in a file mangement application.

At the time I was under client stress to deliver and made a judgement 
call that I could rewrite the document more easily, and within the known 
time constraints, than learning  and deploying effectively a new tool. 
This CoA also removed the risk of feckin' up the rest of the files on 
the system of course.

My take away is to ensure multiple redundant back ups onto different 
unconnected devices of all task critical materials, at the close of each 
work session.
