[HLUG] Re Tim Hydes

Hi everyone

I was contacted a day or two ago by Rodney who had read a death
announcement in the Hereford Times, and sadly I need to let you all know
that Tim from our group has passed away. I wasn't at first sure the notice
in the paper was about 'our' Tim, but his sister has since sent an email to
the LUG group info address to confirm it.

I knew he'd been ill in hospital for a while, but I found this quite a
shock all the same - he really wasn't very old at all (a few months younger
than me actually). I know we will very much miss him within the group.

Tim was one of our longest standing members, and was involved in all our
many events that we held at All Saints in Hereford and at The Grange in
Leominster. He was also involved in the Hereford Computer Club before this,
and also started a Raspberry Pi Group a couple of years back.

His funeral is on 16th of this month in Tupsley, Hereford. Rodney and I
will be going along if anyone else would like to join us. I'll send further
details shortly.
