Does it have to be in the UK?

I am renting a server from Leaseweb (very well connected in Amsterdam so
the latency is low). I'm paying less than £30 a month for a dedicated
server with plenty of bandwidth.

It's a hell of a lot cheaper than any provider in the main UK data
centres can afford to offer service for these days (I'm about to review
UKFSN colo pricing and will have to double what we charge at present to
break even).
