A bit expensive to just use as a desktop webcam.

In other news I'm in the market for a new phone and decided it's time to get 
one that runs on Linux. I can't justify the prices of the fancier models, but 
the HTC Tattoo seems reasonable for the price. It has all the standard 
features such as wifi and GPS, but compromises on screen size and the type of 
touchscreen. Has anyone looked at these? Any reason not to get one?
