I think that there are two good options the 9th or the 16th; I had a slight
preference for the 16th, but my impression was very clear that the earlier
date was far more likely to prove popular amongst a group of strangers.

Kindly note that if the 9th is settled on, then everyone who turns up
on the day of the December meeting, the 5th, will receive a reminder
of the date of the party a few days ahead.

More importantly, there were two reasonable choices for the venue,
the first two on this page:

I don't think that there was a final decision, could someone local
toss a coin or make some other use of the binary system to choose
(I am sure that the Balooshai would be as good this year as it was
the last time we were there, but Mexican would suit me just as well);
and then check for availablity, make a booking and let us know the
time; I will add a page to the wiki.
