[Infopoint] Hull Infopoint Report

Hello all,

Beverley LUG and Hull LUG combined to make the Hull Infopoint a great success.

We had 3 laptops setup running Fedora Core, Mandrake and FreeBSD and also one desktop machine with 8 distros loaded!

A fair few of the people we spoke to had either heard of or tried Linux before and were keen on the idea of a LiveCD. All in all over 100 Linux CD's were given away, mainly Knoppix with about 15 Gnoopix and 10 SuSE 9.1.

We even had 2 people turn up to the Fair especially for the Infopoint as they had read about it in LXF!!
