[Klug-general] Introduction

Hi,

Just thought I would introduce myself. I am Jo....aka LinuxGirlie (or
Linux_Girlie) I live at the moment in Ashford, I used to work in
Maidstone and now in Dover. I am 20 years old (well 20 1/2 - 21 in
june!!) and have been using Linux since I was 15/16. I started off
with Corel Linux moved on to Mandrake and never really felt the need
to change. I am now a network manager after getting a AA in my ICT
AVCE in which I refused to use any Windows products, only Girl in the
UK within 2002 :) and  only 1 out of 3 to get the grade...can you tell
I'm proud ?!? ;) I am now doing an OU degree due to working and
wanting a degree!

I am working on a project with my partner called Karoshi
(www.karoshi.org.uk) which is basically...well as near as so far...a
linux version of RM (without all the stupidness) I actually (DGSB is
being Ofsteded at the moment) talked to two ofsted inspectors today
and both wanted more information about the project :)

I have a very strong views about FLOSS and try and push it at every
chance I get.

I think thats it really!?! I would like to come along to a meeting but
Kevin said that there was no beer......lol ;)

At some point I will turn up, I think my geek of a bf is in
denial....hence the fact he will spend from 6.00pm till 11.00pm coding
but won't go to a Linux group.......as there are geeks
there....urmmm....dur!?!

Anyhow.....hope to meet more Linux people out there and if you wish to
visit the school, just turn up (its cleared with the head if its about
karoshi) and I give you a show around and a bit of a  chat!!
