[Klug-general] RAID OF DEATH!!!

OK get this, Gentoo CD boots fine, I can fdisk and mount the disks,
format them no errors. However with the fedora install CD for 64bit I
get an error on these disks.

Any ideas? The disk is a little scratched but is it even conceivable to
get an error on a SATA disk because of a dodgy CD
