[Klug-general] Palm -> kpilot sync problems

Suddenly I'm unable to sync my palm to kpilot. Every time I try it times
out and I get this message 'Cannot accept Pilot (Connection timed out)'. I
was last able to sync okay on 2005/02/06 at 1503 [GMT].

I also see when kpilot is displayed the following;-
======================================
Version: KPilot 4.4.6
Version: pilot-link 0.11.8
Version: KDE 3.3.2-1.0.3.kde
Version: Qt 3.3.3

15:14:55 Starting the KPilot daemon ...
15:14:55 Daemon status is `not running'
15:14:57 Trying to open device /dev/ttyS1...
15:14:57 Device link ready.
15:17:57 Cannot accept Pilot (Connection timed out)
=======================================
The permissions for /dev/ttyS1 are rw------- and haven't changed,  with the
owner being 'me' and group being 'uucp'. In fact, none of the hardware has
changed and the computer has only been rebooted twice, but this problem was
occurring before the first reboot.

Has anyone any ideas that will get it back up and running please?

Sharon.
