Hi
A friend has come up with an idea that I think could work. It is only
an idea at this stage, and needs developing and putting together and
finding out about relevant legislation. As it is such an embryonic
idea, I thought I'd ask you for comments.
She would like to set up a centre for kids excluded from school. She
would like to ask businesses to donate old PC equipment and teach the
kids to rebuild them into linux based working computers, initially for
gaming.
Later on possibly, they could build computers for kids who are
housebound due to long term illness, as it may give them a focus
outside themselves, give them some compassion and an appreciation of
the abilities they have.
Ideas?
