The first Virtual Kent Linux User Group Meeting is planned for this
Sunday (16th July) starting at 9pm. Most wives and girlfriends will
probably be watching the Kyle Minogue interview on Sky One so you will be
free. We will use Skype to hold the virtual meeting. Skype
conference calls are limited to 5 people, which is more than enough
for a group conversation which is what the Virtual Meeting will
essentially be. It does mean however that taking part will be on a
first come first served basis and as Colin and Dan are already signed
up there's only three spaces left.

The agenda for this meeting will be:

- Introduction: everybody says hello, introduces themselves and gives
brief explanation about why they use Linux.

- Dan; general discussion about about open source things, we have OS
software, cola, beer, films - whats next?

- Colin; Thoughts about MS Vista beta and what it means for the future of linux

- Topic 3

- Topic 4

- Topic 5

- Details of the next KLUG meeting, where, when, what

- Sign off

Hopefully the meeting will be recorded and then made available via the
website site for other members of the LUG to enjoy.

If you are interested in taking part in the Virtual Meeting please
reply to the message including your Skype username and the topic that
you'd like to talk about. A final agenda will be circulated before the
meeting to let you do a bit of research and get your thoughts
together.

Speak to you later
Colin (Skype username: binarysignal)
