[Klug-general] Remote Admin over Internet

Does anyone know how I can set this up?

I want to administer my dad's linux box remotely. Here's the basic setup...

My PC---router/modem---NTL---INTERNET---BT---modem/router---Dads PC
Hawkinge..........................................................................Ashford

Both DSL modem routers get a semi permenant IP address from the ISP's.

Is it just a case of poking a hole in my dad's router's firewall and also 
forwarding ssh traffic to his PC?

How do I find out what his IP address is when I need it?
