You would be surprised what you can do in such a small space.

Remember, years ago something with this cpu grunt and memory would have
10 terminals hanging off it and people hacking away. For this stuff also
consider that boa works well as a web server, jibble some IO, away you
go. 

You do not need the latest and greatest machines, and you would be very
surprised what you can do with something small.
