I have been in discussions with Steve McIntyre, the Assistant Project
Leader for The Debian Project.
A suggestion that I put forth was for Steve to come down to a Kent LUG
meet at somepoint and do an introduction talk about The Debian Project,
What it does, how it does it, and why. The idea being to give abit more
detail to members about what some have refered to as "4 guys in a shed",
and what some think of as an non uptodate distro for geeks and
hobbyists.
Steve has said he is happy to do this, but needs a couple of months
notice in advance to fit it in.
So, I ask the LUG two questions:
1) Do we want to take Steve up on this very kind offer?
and
2) Which meeting would be best for him to do his talk at?
Thanks
Julia
