[Klug-general] Linux and Vista

So can Linux handle core 2 processors natively? I mean should I download 
a special brew of Linux to exploit the dual functions or will just a 
normal 32 bit ( or is that 64 bit) Linux do that? I had assumed that 
only the AMD Athlon 64 would work with Mandriva 64.
