Should work OK, Intel copied the extra commands from AMD to go to 64 bit
and the main difference between the core duo and the core 2 duo is that
they are on the same piece of silicon and not separate chips wired
together in a sort of Kludge...

So can Linux handle core 2 processors natively? I mean should I download
a special brew of Linux to exploit the dual functions or will just a
normal 32 bit ( or is that 64 bit) Linux do that? I had assumed that
only the AMD Athlon 64 would work with Mandriva 64.
