FYI: Hampshire is bigger and is served by one group. They meet at
alternate ends of Hampshire each month. Once in Southampton, next in
Aldershot. Each meeting gets between 10 and 50 people. Every meeting has
talks on various subjects from virtualisation to linux certification
tests.

I'd say aside from Greater London, it's one of the most active in the
UK.

HantsLUG have had stands at computer fairs, and have never paid for a
table. It doesn't have to cost, although I know Sussex and Berkshire do
pay for their tables.

I do. It's 50 miles from my house to Southampton. I go there and back in
a day for a meeting.

Just so you know, it is possible to run a LUG in a big county.

Cheers,
Al.
