Obviously you know way more about NTFS than me, personally I prefer
file systems which keep THEMSELVES contiguous ;)

SELinux is prohibitive on top of the standard unix perms, more than
anything else, although it does allow for permission inheritance
(which is very very very nice on webservers)
also SELinux AFAIK can't operate on any windows file system FAT or
NTFS, there is a reason for this but can't remember what it is. I
think NTFS is related to the deficiencies in the linux driver more
than anything else. Either way its a little off topic, I'm putting my
money on the topologilinux method as it has been tried and tested in
the past and is fully functional.
