Hmm. My response regarding the anti-earthquake comments seem to have 
aroused someone's ire. The from boxes baffled me.

That was not intended - but if it helps - then I don't mind apologising. 
Some of us are not as netiquettic as perhaps we should be, although I am 
not sure where I can learn the rules - incidentally who wrote them? and 
on whose authority?

But I would ask you to think that perhaps there is a reasonably sensible 
reason for this mildly niggling occurrence.

And there is ....

Some of us have several profiles in our Seamonkey - and I'm one of them. 
My personal email details are the only ones which the KLUG server will 
recognise and allow me in with. I also have a corporate one which I use 
most of the time and receive most of the KLUG emails there.

I respond to few, but when I want to respond I must select and copy the 
text of the incoming memo, switch profile to my personal one, start a 
NEW (oh horror) email and paste that thread into it. I actually thought 
that might help - apparently not.

Isn't Linux supposed to be sweetness and light to all shades?

Seems I coulda been mistook.
