Hmm. My response regarding the anti-earthquake comments seem to have
aroused someone's ire. The from boxes baffled me.
That was not intended - but if it helps - then I don't mind apologising.
Some of us are not as netiquettic as perhaps we should be, although I am
not sure where I can learn the rules - incidentally who wrote them? and
on whose authority?
But I would ask you to think that perhaps there is a reasonably sensible
reason for this mildly niggling occurrence.
And there is ....
Some of us have several profiles in our Seamonkey - and I'm one of them.
My personal email details are the only ones which the KLUG server will
recognise and allow me in with. I also have a corporate one which I use
most of the time and receive most of the KLUG emails there.
I respond to few, but when I want to respond I must select and copy the
text of the incoming memo, switch profile to my personal one, start a
NEW (oh horror) email and paste that thread into it. I actually thought
that might help - apparently not.
Isn't Linux supposed to be sweetness and light to all shades?
Seems I coulda been mistook.
