Oh yes, just to make it clear, I have absolutely no idea of the 
specifics of Mandriva. I have used Mandriva since it was Mandrake. I'm 
an Ubuntu user, but from experience most distros are very easy to 
install, configuration can be a little trickier! I'll probably install 
it myself prior to the event. If we have internet access at the venue 
then figuring out any problems should be fairly easy and obviously any 
long-term mandriva users should be able to help with the common problems 
that'll come up.
If we don't have internet access then perhaps it would be wise to bring 
along some sources? Common drivers, packages that aren't included, any 
handy utilities, etc?
