[Klug-general] Old Laptop

Hi All
 I was wondering if any one out there could advise me as to the 
minimum specs required for a laptop that only needs to display images 
from cdrom for slideshows. My partner is heavily into botany and wants 
to give some lectures with some of her excellent photographs. I have 
seen recon PIIs & pIIIs  for as little as £50 -£100  which is about my 
price range as I am retired with limited income.
