Evince is another pretty good PDF viewer. Also does postscript and the
like. It's got a somewhat more friendly GUI than xpdf, and I think
it's installed by default in Ubuntu.

It's also rather handy for doing PDF based presentation using beamer
or whatever in TeX :-)
