Seeing how Karl L is in Finland or Iceland or somewhere and he's a 
hardened Geordie I thought i'd send a joke to the list. Maybe it will 
cheer someone's day up :)

ok...

There is a Geordie kid with General Custer at the Battle of little big 
horn, suddenly they hear "boom-boomboom-boom-boom, 
boom-boomboom-boom-boom and Custer turns to the Geordie kid and says 
"they're war drums" and the Geordie kid turns back to him and goes "the 
theivin' bastads!!!"
