I think an open source project first is a good idea.  We should give
something to the community before we try and take all their money and lock
them into longterm proprietary support contracts and upgrade cycles :-)

I think all our jobs should be named after Dilbert characters and
positions.  I'll be Wally, just wandering around doing nothing, smelling a
bit, annoying Alice and drinking coffee :-)
