As the shops have been reminding is since somewhere in June, it is
likely as not that RSN we shall have the iminent arrival of Christmas.
It seems typical for groups and organisations to take this time of year
as an opportunity to go out and celebrate one anothers company with a
drink or two.
Now due to the fact that I didn't think of this in june, and thus every
eatery and provider of decent boose is booked up til lthe new year, I
have been thinking if KLUG would like to do something to mark the
season, but in keeping of rarely doing anything the same as everyone
else, I would like to suggest the following:
What: KLUG Mid winter bash
When: January
Where: TBD
How: TBD
Ideas of exactly how to celebrate this range from a nice meal out
followed by drinks, or just a good night in the pub, to perhaps a
gathering at a private location (combine with the monthly meet?) kinda
like the BBQ in the summer. But this is of course, very open to
discussion.
Sooo: Is anyone interested in this idea? And does anyone want to suggest
ideas on what to do?
Thanks
Julia
