[Klug-general] [Klug-General] More free stuff

Tried Puppy - it needs 64M of Ram Disk to Install. Managed to get Gentoo running from Cd having booted from floppy but could not transfer to hard drive. Currently have got a very Low Resource-Demanding version of DSL but the desktop will only allow the display of images one at a Time. I located a programme from about 2004 which fits my display requirements and have tried unsuccessfully to compile.
I assumed (maybe wrongly) that if I can compile this package I have down-loaded onto my main machine, I can then transfer the resultant binary to the Laptop.
Only of academic interest at the moment as I am trying to do other things.
Rich
