[Klug-general] Alan Turing Pardon Petition

It seems that on the whole people were supportive of the thread, but  
we have to be sensitive to to desires of as broader audience as  
possible to be a true community (but the phrase "you can't ever make  
everyone happy" springs to mind).

Is there any way another opt-in list could be created for those topics  
on the edges of the 'L' (and even the 'GNU')?  That way people can  
choose to hear the broader discussion without impacting those of a  
more sensitive disposition?
