You know you can get RS485 > USB 2.0 convertors for a couple of quid? Think
Ben said he only had USB ports on the box he was gonna use .... and of
course once it's USB, there's a whole library of libraries you can plug into
to write your own plaything ....

Seriously thinking about the RS485 weather station instead now...
Seems to me that Maxim are phasing out a lot of the 1-wire devices but
RS485 et al will be with us for a long time yet.
