[Klug-general] Glitchy Thunderbird 3

G'mornin' all,

I run Thunderbird's latest offering (ver 3) under PCLinuxOS 2009.2 and 
KDE 3.5.10. Since upgrading to Tbird3 I've been getting the odd glitch 
(about twice a day when using it) which seems to slow the whole PC down 
by at least a factor of 100x.
Logging out and logging back in again to KDE clears it.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Just curious.
