[Klug-general] network lags - electrical interference?

All Gigabit switches (bought New as a result of this this problem). The
only thing I haven't replaced is the trunked wiring...
A couple of wireless access points around for guest machines - but this
has been eliminated as the source of the problem, turned them off for a
few days and it still occurs.
Comprises a dozen workstations, all accessing their home folders on the
server through NFS. This is why the lag is so noticeable...
