I am reminded of a bus ride through north London with my family in (I
think 1948 - I said I was old).
Looking out of the upstairs window my (slightly) older brother said
'Look, there's an Indian'.
My father looked for a turban - him being recently ex-Army in India.
I looked for a feather head-dress (As in Cowboys and Indians.
My brother was looking at a rare motorbike.
So the whole family appears to be easily baffled. :-)
