If anyone in the group uses PCLinuxOS, you might like to know that the 
most recent ver 2010 has netfs installed but default configured not to 
start on boot.

This has caused me some problems until advice from their Forum showed 
the way. Now I can backup safely. You just use the Systems facility to 
start netfs and click the box to start on boot.
