[Klug-general] Webpage failover

Hi all

I'm looking for a method to failover a webpage by using javascript or
something embedded in the page.

For example a user goes to a portal page embedded in sharepoint but
sharepoint has crashed (as it often does!), the script detects that
sharepoint has crashed and automatically redirects them to a copy of the
portal page held else where.

Because sharepoint will be involved dns failover or load balancing aren't
really options.
